Donating to the Opera House

Join the Opera House Fan Club! NRAO Business Manager Mike Holstine presented a gift to Opera House Foundation President Rene White, August 17, 2007. On Friday, August 17, 2007, the Opera House Foundation launched its Fan Club with a generous $5,000 donation from the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, in Green Bank. The gift will go toward the Foundation's goal of raising $25,000 to keep the Opera House cool during the summer months. We can't raise the remaining $20,000 without your help! Your donation of $25 or more will get you an attractive Opera House fan to keep you cool until we are able to reach our goal. General Donations Ticket sales cover only a portion of our annual operating budget, so we must rely on the generosity of our many patrons who recognize the value of the Opera House's role in our community. Without this ongoing support, we could not continue to offer the quality programs our audiences enjoy. The Pocahontas County Opera House Foundation is a non-profit 501 c(3) organization. The foundation is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the building, assisting in the continued restoration of the Opera House and programming of events. Donations are gladly accepted. Donors may specify the area to which they would like their donation applied.
